A Life Reshaped: From a sprouting Software Engineer to Doctor in the Making
I am a dynamic individual whose journey has been marked by a passion for learning and a relentless pursuit of personal and professional growth. Hailing from Sri Lanka, I embarked on an academic journey that has taken unexpected turns, shaping a unique and compelling narrative.

In the early years, I demonstrated an innate aptitude for technology and a keen interest in the world of software engineering. This led me to pursue a fully funded scholarship degree in Software Engineering in Sukkur IBA University in Pakistan. The academic environment fueled my curiosity, and I quickly became immersed in the intricacies of coding, problem-solving, and software development.

However, fate had other plans for me. The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 prompted a global reassessment of priorities and goals. During these challenging times, I made a bold decision to pivot my career path and follow a long-cherished dream of becoming a medical professional.

Undeterred by the hurdles and uncertainties, I set my sights on a medical degree and chose to pursue my studies in Armenia. The transition from the realm of software engineering to the intricate world of medicine was undoubtedly challenging, but I approached it with resilience, adaptability, and a hunger for knowledge.

In Armenia, I embraced a new culture, language, and educational system. The medical journey brought its own set of trials and triumphs, and I found myself navigating anatomy books, clinical rotations, and medical exams with the same determination that had fueled my earlier pursuit of software engineering.

This dual academic experience not only showcases my intellectual versatility but also underscores my ability to confront and conquer challenges head-on. It reflects my commitment to personal growth and the courage to forge a path less traveled.

As I continue to evolve personally and professionally, I remain driven by a passion for both technology and medicine. The synthesis of these two seemingly disparate worlds speaks to my multifaceted nature and the capacity to bridge gaps between different disciplines.

My journey is a testament to the belief that education is not confined to a single trajectory but is a lifelong exploration. I stand as a living example of adaptability, determination, and the pursuit of one’s true calling, regardless of the challenges that life may present.
